Social Butterfly

Revelation. Just shortly after six and I'm completely bored at home. Even being really busy at with work, I don't really know what to do with myself. What do people do that don't work or work from home? I just realized that I need to work in an office or I would die from boredom and lack of social stimulation. I really need to interact with people, have lunch, walk around the city—and that's besides feeling like I have a purpose.

I sit all day long waiting for Rich to come home...Thank god summer and baby Campbell will be here soon to keep me busy...

Diaper Bag Decision Anxiety

Had one of my final doctor's appointments today—3 cm dilated, but no obvious contractions. He estimated that I had at least a week or a week and a half left—I guess it's going to be close to the estimated date of May 21. We still have a few things to get done, so another 10 days would be great.

But it's not the delivery that's my current dilemma, but what diaper bag to order. I found one a few months ago that I really liked, but then last minute I found another one from Ju Ju Be that I also like. With only 10 more days to go, I have to make a decision.

Got this cute cap sleeve embellished top for the summer. With my white denim mini, it will be great for summer cocktails with the girls. the only draw-back—it's a little see-through, but I guess you can wear a cami under it, if you think it's necessary.

A Night at the Breslin

This must be one of the coolest places in the city—The Breslin Bar and Dining Room in the Ace Hotel on 28th and Broadway. We stopped by for dinner the other night to celebrate last day of working in the city, it the food and vibe was great. People in all age groups for all walks of life—perfect for a night out. A word of caution though—this would not be a place to go for vegetarians—it's all about the meats. I had the whole grilled trout with roasted potatoes and it was amazing. Maybe not gourmet food, but excellent for a fun dinner with interesting foods.

The Breslin is located in the Ace Hotel that opened last year—just a block away from my office! Highly recommended for out of towners that are looking for a hopping place to stay. Innovative concepts of mini bunk bed room rooms all the way up to loft suites. Everything is decorated in a kind of campy retro design, which makes everything kind of young and cool
