TriBeCa Film Festival 2009

The TriBeCa Film festival is kicking off its 2009 line up on April 22. 

I'm particularly excited this year since the Swedish film "The Swimsuit Issue" (Allt Flyter) will be screened. The comedy by Måns Herngren will premier at AMC Village VII 6 on Friday April 24 @8:00 PM. This is a must see for all New York Swedes!

If you are an American Express Cardmemember, tickets go on sale on April 14. For the general public, ticket sales start April 20.

The apple of my eye

I'm glad the family is continuing the line of independent and skilled girls!  I was taught as a six-year old to chop wood by my grandpa. Handy with an ax is really great asset. He must have had a lot of trust in me, cause I don't know if I would trust a six year old with a sharp object that could potentially sever limbs!

Loving Pegged Jeans

I just love the pinned up jeans look for spring–and I love that it goes with both heels and flats. I was first trying on a pair of new jeans "pre-pegged" but I realized it worked just as well on my current skinny jeans (and that's cheaper too)! 

Overall I'm not a big fan of the boyfriend jean look, even pegged. I think you tend to look bigger than you really are and why waste the hours you spent in the gym on that.
