It's a Very Merry Lucia

Her first Lucia crown—the property of any respectable little Swedish lady. Next year we will make it back to the Swedish Lucia celebration in style—white gown, candles and glitter.

My Sweet Valentine: New York, New York, United States; I'm a Swedish girl living in NY for the past 14 years. I came here with the intention of staying for just a year and then head back home to continue my education. However, a year in college lead to 3 more and after that I was stuck! I simply loved NY too much to ever move back. I guess meeting an American boy did not help either! I work at an advertising agency in Manhattan and love my job. I spend most of my time off dining out and in, shopping, reading about trends, fashion and design. I love hanging out with my family and friends. They are the pillars of my strength. I'm almost always in a good mood and I smile a lot. I'm a complete optimist–I think you need to be to survive in NYC. I like most people, I love very few.
