I can think of at least 15 reasons why I need this classic Skerry sailing dinghy. Rich wants us to buy a kit and build it, but I think we have a list of existing projects that is long enough to keep us busy for years. But it's so cute. Kits seem to go for anywhere from around $1,500 to around $5,000.
Work is till progressing on the Catalina and I cross my fingers that it will be ready in time for summer. I don't know if I mentioned it, but Hurricane Sandy did quite a number on the boat and tons of repairs were needed. So trying to look on the bright side, it's a perfect excuse to upgrade some stuff!
