This gem is located on 5th Avenue between 27th and 28th Street, just a few blocks from Madison Square Part. Would make for a perfect three story loft! Maybe a little loud with the traffic, but who cares when you would live here.

Finally a New Grill

We finally made a decision—a new grill is purchased. This makes me feel so suburban and domestic! 

Since May, I think we have visited every single store that sells grills and we left all places empty handed. Not sure why we couldn't decide. We have been in and out of stores..."This one looks too big. Is that one big enough? I wonder about the quality? Wow, this one is $1,800 plus shipping!" So now we were left, the day before 4th of July weekend grill-less and a fridge filled with steaks.

We are usually so good at making a command decision. I think it came down to the fact that the grill we both really, really wanted was a $1,799 purchase form Smith and Hawken. It was just beautiful. But in the end we came to the conclusion that it was over-kill for our little house. A little bit like buying a Ferrari and park it on the driveway of our modest middle-class suburban house. Kind of ridiculous.

A red-lackered Kenmore will be picked up at Sears before the weekend. Very all-American.

Perfect Weekend

Summer is really here. Just checked the weather report for the weekend, and this is what I saw. 

Damn straight! Sun, Sun, Sun...and around 80 Degrees! Talk about Perfection! This 4th of July weekend will be great. 

A Perfect Chambray Shirt

I remember in 8th grade when denim shirts (oversized) were really in, and after they went out of fashion, I really never thought I would be into them again. 

But here we are, years later, and I'm dying for a nice tailored denim chambray shirt. This one is from J Crew, but won't be in stock until late September. Grrrr, but them I will have gotten over my obsession already. Where can I find one? Please help me.

Monsoon

Just discovered british retailer Monsoon. They have the cutest stuff, especially things inspired by the far east and india (monsoon...duh!). Biggest drawback is that they currently don't have a US location, but it you are planning a London vacation this summer, I recommend a visit.
