Today's outfit

White knot t-shirt, American Eagle Outfitters; Cardigan, Banana Republic; Scarf, Gap; Tights, Express; Boots, Aldo. Necklace is from Thomas Sabo.

Fashion Atrocities

Phoebe Price never fails to disappoint us in the fashion department. Completely inappropriate attire with her enhanced assets almost falling out. How long can she stay a z-list celebrity until she gets the message.

Katie Holmes. Ouch!! The oldest looking  30-year old I have ever seen. Where did her spunkiness go?? With the exception of one or two occasions, her choice of wardrobe is that of a 50 year old woman. Please let the old Katie come back.

Mickey Rourke. I just don't understand everyone's new obsession of him. He is probably the freakiest and creepiest looking dude around. The worst part is that he actually used to be hot before all that plastic surgery (he should have sued that surgeon.) And Mickey, you're 56 not 22! Please make age appropriate choices for your outfits.

Lady Gaga. What can I say? they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'll let this photo do the honors.

New Bedroom Lamps

I just came across these lamps on one of the by-invitation-only shopping sites (ideeli.com). They are from Two's Company. I think they would be perfect in our bedroom. The lamps come with these tree-shadow shades. Not sure if that will look really cool or just really tacky. Anyway, I can always get two new shades if I need to.

Fabulous Spring Wedges from BR

These are simply adorable (and they look kind of comfortable too)!
Renee pep-toe wedges, Banana Republic $120

Today's Cravings

Lanvin Gourmet 22 Faubourg Tote $680. A little over the top for some, but I think it's super cute and fun for the spring and summer.

Kelly Dress in Purple from Wink, $297. winknyc.com

I'm Lucky Girl

I often get caught up in a downward spiral of self-pity. I don't feel appreciated at work, my husband is not helping out around the house enough...yadi yadi yadi.
I tend to forget that I have had such a wonderful life. I am living in (in my opinion) the greatest city in the world, married to the man I love more than anything, I have wonderful friends, a cute little house and my career is moving forward. What do I really have to complain about? I'm living my dream.

Why can't these people just go away!!

I just don't get the attention in media allotted to Spencer and Heidi from the Hills. I guess I am subconsciously feeding in to the publicity machine myself now even mentioning their names. But, gosh I hate those two! When are they going to get that no one cares about them. Please, make these two go away. Pretty please.

This is where it continues

I have decided to move my blog to this site hoping the service will be better. I mainly blog about my life in NYC, fashion, food, design, trends and other random thoughts of day.
