Funky Gloves

I'm always looking for fun gloves for fall and winter—funky textures, materials and colors. So, of course, when I spotted these removable glove cuffs I fell completely in love with them. These three styles from Echodesign.com are amazing (studded leather $38.00, faux fur $18.00 and ruffled leather $48.00). I want them all!

Needful Things

Another round of lovely stuff for fall. ChloƩ's Marcie bag is just to die for. Vince's Sequin mini will brighten up any gloomy fall day. And a Mason Pearson brush and a curling wand will make any hair feeling glam.

I'm Still Here

So it's been a few days since I updated. I promise, I have a few sweet things in the works. Have spotted tons of cute fall stuff, but work's been so crazy I haven't had a second to post it.

But until I get everything up (hopefully tomorrow), here's one quick photo from tonight. A tired mom with an even more tired baby—but I still love this shot. Every minute I get to spend with my sweetie pie is most presious time ever!

So, until tomorrow...nighty night.

Halloween Sneak Peek

Trial run of the hat part last night. This costume is going to be awesome!

Fall Shopping Round-up

Have started to add on a few things to my fall wardrobe. I just found an amazing camel coat from Zara this week. It's a little early for winter coat shopping, but I just had to have it.

Also found some cute stuff at Express at great prices. I promised myself to not get any more sequin stuff since I rarely wear it, but this tank was so cute I couldn't resist.

And last but not least, a classic trench—that's an absolute essential for this fall.

What I'm Wearing.

Well, actually not today, more like yesterday, but I didn't get around to posting. A little wonky aim since my head is cut off, but I had a bad hair day anyway =)

Power Puff Girl

Guess Owens Ankle Boot

I'm usually not a huge fan of ankle booties—there are a few that I like, but it's few and far between. I did, however, just find these amazing suede booties from Guess. (They look almost identical to the Louboutin's that I dreamed about a few months ago). I'm so obsessed with these dark red ones, but they come in navy, black and grey too.

A Perfect Layering Tank

This piece is so beautiful. I can think of a million different ways to wear it. Light and gauzy—perfect with leggings or skinny jeans. I'm kind of liking this pink/nude color.

Bad Weather Boots

These Timberland boots would be so cute for a snowy day in the city. High enough to keep the snow out and good traction for those slippery sidewalks.

My Little Red Hot Chili Pepper

Finally we have consensus on Campbell's Halloween costume. We both loved this little spicy tamale—totally fits her fiery personality!

The runners-up, the bat and Princess Leia costumes. One of these will be perfect next year when she's walking.

Irresistible

This morning I woke up to find my little snuggle-puss with this contagious smile on her face.

Alright. So I haven't done one of these in a while now, but I promise to get better. I'm so loving all the nautical stripes available this fall. I just got this top from Gap this weekend and it's already one of my favorites.

Now only two more pounds to go until I'm back to my normal weight. Not that I couldn't go for losing some more, but for now I feel both content and confident. That's all you can ask for!

myshells jewelry

It's amazing how you can work with someone everyday and not know anything about what they do outside of work. I just found out this week that one of the girls I work with makes this amazing seashell jewelry—all for sale at etsy.

She uses shells from the Philippines and hand carves and polishes them into these amazing rings and necklaces. I'm obsessed with these two rings—they are absolutely beautiful and unique.

There are currently just a few available for sale, but you can check them out at myshells.etsy.com. Prices start at $45.00,

Weekends with Campbell

Just some photos from this weekend. I can't believe how fast this little cutie pie is growing. She has already conquered both the highchair and real food. She's just four months after all. We are still convinced she is a genius =)

Went out shopping with mom yesterday and we got the world's cutest hat for Campbell. I'm in love with this adorable zebra hat—we simply couldn't resist it.

From yesterday's office cruise. It was about two years ago since we went on the Adirondack schooner in the NYC harbor. This year we rented the Manhattan motor cruiser and it was amazing. Awesome food (the artichoke bruchetta was to die for) and tons champagne. Just the way we like it.

Cole Haan Bacara Ballet flat

I just love these aubergine velvet flats from Cole Haan. Super cute little lace-up detail on the back.

I'm totally into velvet for the fall. Especially in deep jewel tones such as this.

Love. There's just nothing more to say.

A Scary Sight

Outside my office window right now. Pouring rain, heavy thunder and lightning, and dark skies. I hope it clears up in the next 15 minutes...I don't have an umbrella with me.
