US OPEN 2010

Had such a fun night last night at the US OPEN. Really nice dinner at the Ace's Club and the court-side tickets to the evening session. Unfortunately it got a little chilly later at night—thank god we had brought jackets.

Got a little star-struck when I realized that I was sitting right in front of Derek Jeter. I'm such a dork and just had to take out the camera and sneak a photo. At least I didn't turn the flash on! Rich was mortified, but I just had to get a picture. (I would have made a great spy—he didn't even notice that I snapped one)

Last night's first game, Blake vs. Djokovic. Of course, I rooted for Blake since I'm bleeding red, white and blue through-and-through. Typically, Rich loves Serbian Djokovic. The whole game we were pitted against each other. Unfortunately, it wasn't Blake's night and he lost in three straight sets.

The women's game after that ended up actually being more fun—Kirilenko vs. Kuznetsova. We ended up staying until past midnight. On top of that I have a total girl-crush on Kirilenko. She is so pretty! And I loved her purple tennis outfit. I just have to get my hands on that one.
