I seem to be running a consistent three days late on all my posts lately, so apologies to you all for not keeping up lately.
Had Campbell's birthday bash on Saturday, and of course the gods promised rain and chilly temperatures. I thought I was quite lucky, when I woke up to one tiny little ray of sun and no rain—I was kind of hoping it would stay dry and somewhat warm. But no such luck—four on the dot the skies opened up and the rain started to pour. Ugh. And I had set up such a pretty dessert table! Right as guest stated to arrive we had to lug all the stuff back inside again. The irony of it all is that as soon as we had brought everything in, the rain stopped. Typical.
