- I'm a Swedish girl living in NY for the past 14 years. I came here with the intention of staying for just a year and then head back home to continue my education. However, a year in college lead to 3 more and after that I was stuck! I simply loved NY too much to ever move back. I guess meeting an American boy did not help either! I work at an advertising agency in Manhattan and love my job. (And please note that all opinions and thoughts in this blog are my own and does not represent the agency.) I spend most of my time off dining out and in, shopping, reading about trends, fashion and design. I love hanging out with my family and friends. They are the pillars of my strength. I'm almost always in a good mood and I smile a lot. I'm a complete optimist–I think you need to be to survive in NYC. I like most people, I love very few. I trust my friends to always have my back, and they do. I think that's pretty much me in a nut shell.
