Happy Halloween everyone! It's been a long, long day today. Been busy bees working on the house, greeting Trick or Treaters, and then a full afternoon in Rockville Center. That town really goes all out for Halloween—people have gone nuts decorating their houses (some have even made their house into a haunted house)! I got a good scare tonight when, what I thought was a scarecrow, came chasing me down the street. And at one point I think there must have been at least 200 kids running around on the street. What an amazing Halloween spirit they had going there! (It almost felt like we were in that movie Hocus Pocus—a halloween favorite.)

Fall Foliage
I had planned on having a super productive day today, but I ended up doing almost nothing at all. No painting, no cleaning, not laundry. Nothing. I guess it's good to have those lazy days once in a while.
It was just such a beautiful day on Long Island—way too nice to do house work. Instead we took a long hike in Caumsett park. I think thats's one of my favorite places to go, especially in the fall and the leaves are changing color.
A little busy tonight getting ready for Halloween tomorrow. Campbell's costume is all set, but no candy purchased yet. Hopefully the Trick or Treaters don't come to early =)
What I'm Wearing today:
Dress—Gap Vest—Mom's old vintage Caravan vest (from 1981!) Scarf—Louis Vuitton Leggings—American Apparel Cardigan—Gap

Need Supply Co.
Just found this place Need Supply Co—they have tons of cute stuff for not that much money. This open cardigan and tunic are great basics for fall.
Love Always Cuffs
Bargain Hunter
Stopped by Gracious Homes Chelsea location yesterday for their final days of clearance. They are closing up that location (no wonder—everything was so overpriced!) Well, bad news for them, meant good news for me.
It was a total war zone in there, but I scored a hand embroidered crib duvet cover for $18.00 (originally $190.00) and a beautiful italian twin duvet cover for $41.00 (originally $415.00). I love a getting a bargain. Of course, Campbell is not going to be able to use a twin duvet for a while, but who can resist four hundred dollar sheets for forty bucks...they are soft like silk after all =)
Witchy Woman
Managed to squeeze in a midnight "home" mani at the dining room table last night. Ghoulish dark purple polish with pink dots. Prefect for Trick or Treating with Campbell and the cousins on Sunday.
And I forgot to show my new bracelet that Rich got my for Halloween. (We are both obsessed with skull-and-cross bones). They make these themselves at Liboutti Jewlers in Huntington. I love handmade quirky stuff.

What I'm Wearing
Denim jacket—Gap Necklace—H&M Cardigan—Ann Taylor Loft Dress—BB Dakota Tights—Spanx (they make the best tights ever)
I've been a little bit of a slacker lately and haven't taken any photos (besides of Campbell). But I have finally made some time for self-pampering. New highlights on Saturday—I really need it— and a facial/microdermabrasion in two weeks. I'm going to feel brand new after this =)
Natural Leather
I have always loved natural undyed leather, especially the kind that gets better and better looking the more you wear it (you know, like your grandpa's old belt or an well-used saddle.) I actually can't believe this bag from TopShop is only $100.00—it is real leather after all. I think it's so cute—both masculine and feminine at the same time.

Favorites: Michael Kors Gloves
On days like this you can barely believe that winter November is just a few days away. Despite the 72F weather, I'm prepping for chilly days ahead. I've been really impressed with all things Michael Kors lately. Super classy. Just received a pair of wrist warmers that I got for my niece that I kind of wanted to keep for myself, but they have tons of really cute gloves and wrist warmers for the winter. Here are a few of my favorite things.

Something Pretty for my Walls
I absolutely love maps. It always makes me dream of all the exotic places I want to visit (next big trip just have to be Buenos Aires, or I'll just die). Maybe that's why I love airports too...everyone's on the go heading somewhere far away...the energy is just intoxicating.
Well, I just checked out this site called 20X200.com and they have the most amazing art. I particularly fell in love with this graphic map of New York from Stamen Design. I just have to have it.
