Hush, Hush

It's Friday and New York City is almost completely empty. Walking to work this morning, the streets were desolate, and even at Starbuck's there was a lack of people. Has that ever happened? Everyone has headed out for the beaches—and I have 6 more ours until I'm doing the same. Vacation here I come, 10 days with Long Island fun and relaxation. I probably should make myself a little useful during this time too!

It's funny, though, as soon as you are going on vacation, it seems like there is an endless amount of work related stuff to do before you can leave. Ended up coming into work a little early today to get everything done—send new creative to the client, finalize budget projections and set mechanical files so my stuff can go on press next week. Argh, please let this day be over soon.
