Monday again

So the big Friday night snow storm never really made it all the way to Long Island—not on single flake by us in Cold Spring Harbor. I was almost a little disappointed at first, but who wants snow hanging around anyway. Supposedly more snow is moving in this week, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Actually, at this point I need for spring to get here—fast! My belly is starting to stick out of my jacket and it's a freezing. I really don't want to spend my money on a new jacket to wear for just another few weeks.

We're moving in light speed lately, even projects that have been on a stand still for months (sometimes years) are getting done. Baby's room is almost complete—crib is bought and assembled, changing table in place, Rich's cradle has been painted and walls are all done (pictures to come). We just have that pesky trim to put up. Ugh. Thank god we started early, cause I'm for sure not that agile anymore.

A quick Monday morning shout out to Alice, my lovely mother-in-law, who took me shopping all Saturday, and then paid for everything too =)
