Got a sad note from International Swede on my Facebook account that this year will possibly be the last year for the annual Swedish Midsummer Party in New York City. Sadly the main organizers, the Swedish Consulate, are closing down its NY offices and moving to Washington DC where the Embassy is located. I simply can't believe it. There are over 30,000 Swedes in the tri-state area!
Well, at least lets go out with a bang. Come down to Battery Park's Robert F. Wagner Jr park on the southern tip of Manhattan.
