Finally managed to finish the kitchen ceiling today. Beautiful cedar planking that I white washed with watered down flat latex paint. Plus new recessed lighting. It looks so nice. And the fact that I installed everything myself makes it even better!
Just another day and a half to get the house in order. I guess tomorrow I have to suck it up and head down to the basement and start cleaning up. Ugh!
