I hate going to the gym, but I do love walking. So to make sure I'm staying active and burning the calories I need to, I'm getting myself one of these nifty little things—a pedometer. I know they have existed for years, but I'm finally getting around to buying one. I'm aiming for 10,000 steps a day, but hopefully I can get it up to 12,000-14,000 per day.
You burn about 4 calories per minute of walking, so you would have to walk about 70 minutes to burn off that snickers bar you munched on.
