Swedish crime drama is the best in the world...or at least I think so.
A few summers ago, I read Stieg Larsson's The Girl Who Played with Fire, the follow up novel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, in Swedish (the original publishing language). It was outstanding! Just this summer it was finally published in English and available on the U.S. market. There is actually a third and final novel in the series that is yet to be available here. If you are a crime drama aficionado like me, I highly recommend these books—they are outstanding.
The author Stieg Larsson, a journalist by profession, passed away before any of his books were published. The manuscripts to the three books were only found after his death. Interestingly enough, Larsson had never made any attempts to get them published, but wrote them simply for his on pleasure after work.
Har läst alla, och de är ju så vansinnigt bra! Jag kunde bara inte lägga ner dem. Nu har det ju gjorts film av den första boken, men den har jag inte sett. Gillar inte att se filmer av böcker som jag verkligen tycker om.
