The September 09 NYC Fashion Week is kicking off tonight with all the big designers scheduled to show off what's in the plan for Spring 2010. The grape vine tells me that there will still be a lot of 80s influences this spring.
If you are not one of the lucky few that have a ticket to a runway show, come on out tonight and celebrate Fashion's Night Out, 6pm-11pm. Tons of stores around the city have scheduled special events and offers to promote the fashion industry.
If anyone is looking for the official FNO t-shirt (designed by Alexander Wang) sported by Jessica Biel and model Coco Rocha, Adam Lippes online store still has both long and short sleeve shirts still for sale ($30-$35 each). Retailers will donate 40% of the proceeds to the National September 11 Memorial and Museum Fund.
